Rashkow, I. N. (2000). Taboo or not Taboo: Sexuality and Family in the Hebrew Bible. Minneapolis: Fortress Press.

Rashkow reads the texts of the Hebrew Bible, especially Genesis, using “psychoanalytic literary theory.” Her approach is informed by Lacanian psychology, and she brings it to bear on the stories of Eden, sexuality, Oedipal dynamics and incest.
